Tympanoplasty – hearing-restoring operation by replacing perforated eardrum with fascia of your own body (fascia of temporal muscle). This condition occurs in patients with chronic otitis media. Due to chronic inflammation patients have purulent discharge from affected ear through perforation in the eardrum and progressive hearing loss. During operation surgeon makes a revision of the middle ear that means removal of chronic inflammation substrate, and also closes perforation in the eardrum (closing middle ear from external infection) by harvested fascia.

Stapedoplasty – hearing-restoring operation too, but is performed in patients suffering from otosclerosis. Otosclerosis affects hearing bone chain, especially the stapes. Normally the stapes is connected with the inner ear in the oval window by its footplate. In normal conditions the footplate and the inner ear are not sealed tightly – the stapes have to move a little bit in and out of the oval window to pass sounds farther. In otosclerosis developing connective tissue seals the footplate and the inner ear preventing moving of the stapes. Surgeon makes in the footplates a little hole and inserts a prosthesis – an artificial piston that will move with hearing bone chain and will pass sounds in the inner ear. The price is 1500 €

FESS (functional endoscopic sinus surgery) – endoscopic operation in nasal cavity performing in patients with chronic sinusitis. Chronic sinusitis (with or without polyps) is the common problem. Earlier people suffering from this disease underwent so called “open” types of surgery that means just opening sinus anywhere in its walls and removing pathologic substrate from inside. According to modern rhinogenic conception of sinusitis that is not enough. To stop disease surgeon should open nasal sinus not anywhere but in the natural hole that connects sinus and is blocked by some pathologic process. This widening of natural ostium allows surgeon to restore function of sinus. Without endoscopic equipment this goal is impossible to be achieved. The price is 1500 €.

Endonasal Endoscopic Dacryocystorhinostomy – endoscopic operation for patients suffering from dacryocystitis. There is normal connection of the dacryocyst and the nasal cavity through narrow canal to allow tears to be drained in the nose and to be swallowed further. Due to some pathologic process this canal can be blocked, consequently tears from affected eye always run down the face of patient instead of being in the nasal cavity. During endoscopic endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy surgeon creates a new connection between the dacryocyst and the nasal cavity, higher of the blocked point. The price is 1500 €.

Rhinoplasty – cosmetic operation on the external nose. Nose is the central region of the face, that’s why its shape is so important for appearance. There are numbers of rhinoplasty types. We perform all of them. Several kinds of rhinoplasty are combined by collective term “functional rhinoplasty” that means restoring nasal breathing along with cosmetic results.
